David Bach has written a number of books and he is actually offering his latest book at NO cost for one day only.  This is a downloadable PDF version of the book.

His ideas are always so down to earth and applicable to everyday life for you.

With this link you’ll see an excerpt from his book, but the link for the download of the whole book is right there on the right hand side - available today, January 3, 2010 only.

I wish I had read your blog two days ago! Recovering from a year in which neither my husband nor I had predictable income (he is newly self-employed), I can certainly attest to the confidence that comes with sound financial planning. We never would have made it if we hadn’t practiced some sound management years ago. And I also understand the concept of “starting over!” I’m eager to read what other great light you can shed on this journey. Here’s to blogging together and learning together!

I’m with Mimi. Wish I had read this post in time. Don’t know how I missed it, since I’ve been visiting each blog in our ‘thon daily. Somehow, I missed this one. Bummer! I have an earlier Bach book, though, so maybe I’ll just re-read that one. Thanks for the heads up on the new guide.

I am very impressed with the article I have just read. I wish the author of suzanneholman.com can continue to provide so much useful information and unforgettable experience to suzanneholman.com readers. There is not much to tell except the following universal truth: Wherever you go, you will have been there I will be back.

Thank you for this article. I wish I had not missed it but that is okay. This just reminds me so much of how we should teach our kids at a young age of how to handle finances so that they will grow up and know finances. It is such as shame that the schools do not teach that unless you are a business major in school. Thank you great article.
